Plickers: New frenzy

Yes! Dalam seminggu yang pertama ini, bertambah app dalam android, nampaknya nak kena 'remove' app2 yang dah tak begitu penting lagi.

Sebelum ini dalam fb saya dah pernah 'share' tentang Plickers yang menjadi 'frenziness' of the teacher and students. Pelajar berasa teruja  apabila ada personalisation dalam memberi jawapan bagi setiap soalan objektif yang di paparkan. Setiap pelajar perlu berfikir aktif dan cepat. Perbincangan dilarang sama sekali, maka dari sini masing-masing berusaha meningkatkan prestasi diri dalam pembelajaran yang mana ini adalah tujuan ujian diadakan iaitu melihat berlaku perubahan sikap dalam pembelajaran.

Kaedah Implementasi Plickers dalam pdpc:

1. Download Plicker ke dalam pc / laptop @ https://www.plickers.com/

2. Install Plickers app dalam android / IOS

3. Baca arahan melaksanakan plickers. (Mudah sangat!)

4. Implemen dalam pdpc !!

Kelas Sains Tingakatan 3 mmg hyperaktif sikit, Plickers boleh scan hanya dari tempat duduk cikgu dengan syarat jari pelajar tidak menutup kod pada kad dan kod tidak reflektif (untuk mudah dibaca oleh app)

Ini pula pelajar Fizik Tingkatan 4. Tengok mereka asyik khusyuk melihat skrin !!! :-) apa yang di tengok tu? Mereka tengok nombor yang mana sudah di scan. Semasa gambar di ambil, cikgu belum REVEAL ANSWER. Setelah reveal answer....... haha.. riuh rendah masing2 melihat jawapan sendiri. Hijau utk jawapan yang betul dan Merah utk jawapan yang salah.

Pelaksanaan utk kelas Fizik (memandangkan kekangan masa)

1. Soalan adalah dari koleksi soalan2 Fizik sebenar SPM (diedarkan kepada pelajar). Semua pelajar rujuk soalan. Jadi guru boleh CREATE soalan in an instance.

2. Setiap pelajar hafal nombor masing-masing berdasarkan nama dalam register kelas (biasanya setiap pelajar hafal nombor masing2)


Apa kelebihan menggunakan Educational Web Tool ini?

1. Melibatkan audian sehingga 60 orang

2. Requirement hanyalah laptop, kad, android dan wifi/hotspot oleh pihak cikgu sahaja. Pelajar tidak perlu bawa gadget.

3. Interaktif dan menghiburkan. Sedih tgk muka boring pelajar guna old method...

Educational Web Tools

Assalamualaikum wbt. Its a been a while since my last post in 2012. I was visiting Mars for 6 years and now i am back on Earth with different interest. :-)

Since i attend the Communication Technology and Innovation in Teaching and Learning Physics class by Prof. Madya Dr. Nurulhuda Abd Rahman, i am so content to share the knowledge that i gain in this class to all my teachers friend out there to encourage the usage of technology in our classroom thus to solve problems we are facing in daily basis as a teacher.

Before i continue my writing, i would like to express the gratitude i have to my parents, husband and kids in playing roles in supporting and provide me with so much love to further my study in this field; Physics Education.

Enter classroom, being a student and getting new information, new knowledge has given me an EXTRA LIFE that i loose in this game of Pursuit of Happiness. I love.love.love being a student and please Allah shower me with much knowledge so that i can share with OTHERS.
