Teacher Perspectives

As I was looking for the article of "Best Practice", I come across a Journal [1] which describes the teaching perspectives. The teachers professional development is essential in improving their professional skill and practice [2]

1. Teacher Personalities and Experiences

Having content knowledge does not guarantee that one can effectively give instruction. The unique characteristics of individuals teachers. Therefore, they have their own personalities and experiences that in turn established individual teaching styles.

2. Effective Feedback

To improve/ reflect/ refine / need to change teaching practices to improve student achievement.

3. Time Constraints

As more has been required of teachers, their ability to have time to plan, reflect and implement new teaching Practices effectively has become more difficult. [3]

4. Consistency

The successful implementation and sustainability of instructional coaching is influenced by many factors and one of the influential is consistency.

"Teachers may be hesitant to implement changes when they are unsure or unskilled in new teaching practices or teaching technologies" [4]
